What is wrong with Fixing the Reading Problem?

There is only one step to take—& we need to take so it will no longer be a surprise when the realization hit all of us —that the FED. Money that funds Special Services is not coming. USDOE is gone.

That first step is to–

Fix the problem now because we can with something TOTALLY NEW!!! That’s right and that is what Educator’s FEAR!   EVEN while our wonderful teachers are walking out due to disrespect and untenable working environments -with constant interruptions from management and trouble/ troublesome students.  What if what we say is true in Education –that reading skill recovery ACTUALLY works GREAT! …and will help all when we work together.

And Educator Managers run AWAY from it –when it will save teachers too. Fix the kids and SEE how smart they are—they SHINE SO BRIGHTLY when they smile. As they then can become readers & peer equals in school. That is all they want. And…then help them—THEY ONLY WANT TO be EQUAL TO PEERS & LEARN. Just get out of their way and teachers keep them reading 15 minutes per day and in summer’s too or they may lose it again.

THIS NON-PROFIT 501C3  has that answer–we cannot get into the schools without someone WHO TRULY CARES ABOUT OUR STUDENTS OPENING THAT DOOR. 

You are all in denial—that a simple solution could possibly exist when even your EXPENSIVE LITERACY HARD WORK IS STILL FAILING!!!   Lets put some of that 10M for Literacy to good use &use FVYD  as the first step helping (last count) the 42,000 in Maine who need the simple program and get it done in all schools in  2 years. How about that goal?

Build the template they will come…. (We train Ed-tech 6 hours).

Let’s try something that actually will AID ALSO THE TEACHERS & LITERACY PROGRAM to make their work much easier when & if they are still in need of help for the remaining of  that 40% we do not service. We, FVYD select the students by teacher referral 4th grade and we use our TeachT-SAS tool for 8th grade selection. All get the same simple 15 min. program to follow & it is DONE in 12 weeks. Our FVYD staff leave that school.

***Again let try something NEW- that is lets work together to get this short “essential” program-that save our kids, parents and teachers…into the schools.
